Sebastian Temlett

I grew up in three different African countries, Zimbabwe, Zambia and South Africa. In South Africa I studied filmmaking and was a founding member of BENCHfilms which has become a leading player in South African cinema. I moved to Belgium in 2015 to study theology and religious studies at KU Leuven which seems like an odd segue… and it was. I finished my master’s and after 6 years working in communications in the NGO sector, I decided to return to my roots - film and creative media production.

I love creative arts: photography, theatre, motion graphics. music - you name it, I’ve probably hyper-focused on it. Stand-up comedy is a side passion of mine which has taught me to keep things unexpected and play with an idea, examining all angles, an approach I use when working on a brief.
